• NIH Federal Credit Union IRA CD Rates

  The National Institute of Health Federal Credit Union is offering better IRA CD rates. For example, its 7 month IRA CD is already 2.05%APY for a minimum balance of $500. If your balance is over $10,000, you earn a much better rate of 2.45%APY.

  Another IRA CD that offer a much better rate is its 12 month IRA CD at 2.25%APY. This requires a minimum balance of $10,000 or over.

  Another one that can give a much better rate if there is a rate increase is its 15 month Bump-Up IRA CD. It’s current rate is at 2.60%APY but if there is a rate increase customers can make a request to bump up the rate. This requires a minimum balance of $10,000 or over.

  IRA CD rates are accurate as of May 1, 2009 but subject to change. IRAs at NIH Federal Credit Union are insured separately up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration.
