• Mutual Bank IRA CD Rates

  Mutual Bank offers 2.62%APY on its 16 Month IRA CD. This is the the bank’s highest rate so far for short-term IRA CDs. The minimum balance to open this regular CD or IRA specials is $2,500 and interest is compounded and credited monthly.

  The bank is also offering regular CD and IRA investments that requires a minimum balance of $1,000 to open an account. The rates current as of March 9, 2009 are as follows:

  • 3 month CD/IRA – 1.80%APY
  • 6 month CD/IRA – 2.09%APY
  • 12 month CD/IRA – 2.47%APY
  • 24 month CD/IRA – 2.76%APY
  • 36 month CD/IRA – 2.89%APY
  • 48 month CD/IRA – 3.08%APY
  • 60 month CD/IRA – 3.34%APY

  All CDs are FDIC insured up to the maximum amount permitted by law.

  Update 1: Mutual Bank IRA CD rates (promotional rates): 16 month CD/IRA at 2.46%APY and a 36 month CD/IRA at 2.63%APY. The minimum balance to open is still the same at $2,500.

  Update 2: Mutual Bank IRA CD rates (regular rates):

  • 3 month CD/IRA – 1.65%APY
  • 6 month CD/IRA – 1.94%APY
  • 12 month CD/IRA – 2.32%APY
  • 24 month CD/IRA – 2.36%APY
  • 48 month CD/IRA – 2.73%APY
  • 60 month CD/IRA – 3.00%APY

  The rates are down for regular CD or IRA rates. The bank also eliminated the 36 month CD/IRA on its rate update of 6/17/2009.
