  Nationwide Bank is offering the following IRA rates to interested customers who may choose from traditional IRA, Roth IRA and educational IRA accounts.

  The IRA rates below applies to account balances of over $100,000.  IRA rates are current as of 5/11/09 but may change at any time. Note also that the bank may impose penalty for early withdrawal.

  • 3 month – 1.25%APY
  • 6 month – 1.65%APY
  • 12 month – 1.95%APY
  • 24 month – 2.30%APY
  • 36 month – 2.75%APY
  • 48 month – 3.05%APY
  • 60 month – 3.35%APY

  IRA accounts with balances below $100,0000 earn 0.05%APY lower than the rates offered for accounts with balances above $100,000. For example, a 60 month IRA account with $10,000 balance will earn 3.30%APY.

  Nationwide Rate Change as of 6/8/09: Nationwide 12 month IRA rate is up by 0.10%APY. It is now 2.05%APY from its previous 1.95%APY. The rest of Nationwide IRA rates stays the same.
