In fact, the demand for transparency and equality is rapidly gaining in momentum, forcing organizations to examine their transparency around rewards, pay distribution and the gender pay gap. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Digital technology can be used as a tool to help increase transparency around reward in much the same way that it has improved connectivity and communication.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Using Technology for Transparency and Trust<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For&nbsp;employers, investing in technology that makes employee rewards more transparent not only enables employees to see and understand their compensation clearly, but it also develops trust. Trust enhances the power of the employer\u2019s brand, which goes a long way in both attracting talent and increasing retention.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In Salesforce\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/form\/conf\/2017-state-of-it.jsp?leadcreated=true&amp;chapter=&amp;videoId=&amp;__element=pre&amp;Driver\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">State of IT report<\/a>, it was shown that 71% of employees want their employer to provide them with the same level of technology as they use in their personal lives as consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">As a result, more and more employers are offering employee mobile apps and other interactive, customizable digital experiences so their workforce can stay informed, connected, and engaged.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.hubspot.net\/hubfs\/2798830\/All%20Markets\/Blog%20images\/how-digital-technology-can-be-used-to-help-increase-transparency-and-trust.jpg\" alt=\"how-digital-technology-can-be-used-to-help-increase-transparency-and-trust\" width=\"1100\" style=\"width: 1100px; margin: 10px 0px 0px;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The Compensation Gap<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">When it comes to transparency around rewards and compensation, employers need to make employees aware of their total reward. Without knowledge of their full compensation value, employees miss out a significant part of their compensation package, not to mention the money organizations waste on unused benefits.
